Pro-Ject launches Harley-Davidson special-edition turntable

Pro-Ject and Harley-Davidson have launched the Pro-Ject Harley-Davidson Turntable, a special-edition record player developed as a collaboration between the two companies. The model was introduced on 25 August 2026. Its belt-driven mechanism supports record playback at 33rpm and 45rpm.

The turntable takes its external styling cues from Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The chassis uses a sandwich construction of aluminium and MDF beneath a precision-milled aluminium top surface. The rotating assembly incorporates a diamond-cut aluminium sub-platter beneath the glass main platter. The glass platter incorporates resonance damping and sits beneath a genuine-leather platter mat.

The drive system uses a synchronous AC motor governed by a precision DC/AC power generator. Speed changes are handled by an electronic switching system. Electrical power comes from a universal supply rated at 15V DC and 800mA. The main platter measures 300mm in diameter, and the moving drive mass is 2.75kg.

The 8.6-inch tonearm is equipped with an SME headshell and a TPE-damped counterweight. Gravity-based adaptive anti-skating is built into the tonearm assembly. The moving-magnet cartridge is Pro-Ject's Pick it PRO model and comes factory pre-adjusted. At the audio output, a five-pin DIN socket is paired with an included semi-balanced phono cable.

The turntable has chassis dimensions of 543 x 124 x 437mm, and its record puck weighs 915g. The dust cover for the turntable is sold separately. The announced price is £2,299 in the UK and $3,299 in the US. The European price is €2,590, and the Pro-Ject Harley-Davidson Turntable is offered by special order in the UK, US and Europe.
