Argon Audio launches BERLIN SUB 10 and BERLIN SUB 12 subwoofers

Argon Audio has launched the BERLIN SUB 10 and BERLIN SUB 12 subwoofers in Germany. The BERLIN SUB 10 is priced at 899 euros, while the BERLIN SUB 12 costs 1,099 euros. Pascal Audio Class D amplification powers both models. The amplifier in each subwoofer is rated at 500 W RMS, with specified peak output of 1,200 W.

Each BERLIN SUB model uses a sealed enclosure and places its woofer in a down-firing orientation. The woofer fitted to each model is a custom long-stroke glass-fibre unit. The BERLIN SUB 10 model uses a 10-inch woofer. The BERLIN SUB 12 model uses a 12-inch woofer.

The onboard digital processing in both subwoofers includes Real Time Bass DSP and Speakermatch DSP. Each model also includes three-band notch-filter room equalization. A rotary control and digital display are mounted on the rear panel. The display can be rotated through 180 degrees.

Wired audio connections on each model comprise RCA inputs and an XLR input. A separate USB-C connection on each model is provided specifically for firmware updates. Each of the two subwoofers contains a built-in MATRIX Wireless receiver. Wireless operation uses that receiver with an optional MATRIX transmitter.

Together, the BERLIN SUB 10 and BERLIN SUB 12 form Argon Audio’s two-model BERLIN SUB range. The BERLIN SUB 12 is the higher-priced model within that range. Both models are offered in black, white and walnut finishes. The two subwoofers entered German retail availability on 24 August 2026.
