Shokz introduces OpenRun Air 2 bone-conduction headphones
The new Shokz OpenRun Air 2 will launch in the United States on 27 August 2026 at $129.95. The bone-conduction headphones are rated for up to 10 hours of playback. The model uses Bluetooth 6.0 and carries an IP67 dust-and-water-resistance rating.

Shokz has introduced the OpenRun Air 2 as its new bone-conduction headphone model. The company has set a US launch price of $129.95 for the model. The rechargeable battery is rated to provide up to 10 hours of audio playback on a single charge. It succeeds the OpenRun in Shokz’s bone-conduction headphone line.
At the centre of the OpenRun Air 2’s audio system is the company’s PremiumPitch 3.0 technology. Sound adjustment for the headphones is managed through the Shokz app. The app provides four preset EQ modes and two custom EQ modes. The OpenRun Air 2 use two microphones equipped with AI-powered microphone noise reduction.
For shorter battery top-ups, five minutes connected to a power source supplies up to two hours of playback. Bringing the battery to a full charge takes one hour. The OpenRun Air 2 use a wired USB-C connection to receive charging power. The physical charging connector itself has a water-resistant design.
The OpenRun Air 2 use Bluetooth 6.0 as the basis of their wireless connection. The Bluetooth connection has a rated operating range of 10 metres. An IP67 rating covers the headphones’ resistance to both dust and water. Shokz makes the OpenRun Air 2 in two size options, named Standard and Mini.
The Standard-size OpenRun Air 2 headphones have a specified weight of 26.4g, and the Mini-size version weighs 25.9g. Shokz has scheduled both size options to launch in the United States on 27 August 2026.
