Pro-Ject launches E1.2 BT turntable with Bluetooth 5.4

Pro-Ject introduced the E1.2 BT turntable for the UK market on 19 August 2026, adding Bluetooth 5.4 transmission to its E1.2 platform. The belt-drive model is available immediately, with UK prices starting at £399. It supports aptX HD and aptX Adaptive through its integrated wireless transmitter. The E1.2 BT expands Pro-Ject's E-Line turntable range.

Within Pro-Ject's E1.2 platform, the E1.2 BT is the variant with an integrated Bluetooth 5.4 transmitter for wireless output. Its codec support covers both aptX HD and aptX Adaptive.

The belt-drive mechanism uses electronic speed control for 33 RPM and 45 RPM playback. The platter is a 730g damped die-cast aluminium component. The platter bearing uses a stainless-steel axle inside a bronze bushing. A pre-adjusted Pro-Ject Pick it MM E cartridge is included.

At the 33 RPM speed setting, Pro-Ject rates the E1.2 BT's wow and flutter at ±0.23% and its speed drift at ±0.7%. At 45 RPM, the corresponding ratings are ±0.21% for wow and flutter and ±0.6% for speed drift. Pro-Ject specifies a signal-to-noise ratio of 65dB. The tonearm has an effective length of 218.5mm and an effective mass of 7.0g.

The E1.2 BT measures 415 × 112 × 320mm and has a net weight of 3.6kg. Its power consumption is 4.5W. Three standard finishes carry a UK price of £399, and five Colour finishes carry a UK price of £449. The E1.2 BT was available immediately in the UK from 19 August 2026.
