Bose launches Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds with USB-C

Bose has returned to wired in-ear earphones with a USB-C model. The Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds cost $99 in the US and draw power from the connected device. My Bose exclusive preorders opened through Bose and Best Buy on 28 September 2026, with shipping scheduled to begin on 15 October 2026.

The earbuds connect directly to compatible USB-C phones, tablets and computers using the USB Audio Class 2 protocol. They support lossless audio listening and use Bose SoundDesign digital signal processing. Source input can be at any sample rate and bit depth, while playback output is fixed at 24-bit/48kHz.

The QuietControl active noise-cancellation system uses two microphones on each earbud. Three listening modes are available: Quiet Mode, Aware Mode and ANC Off Mode. Physical buttons on the in-line remote control volume, playback, calls and noise-cancellation mode selection. A dedicated call microphone is positioned on the back of the remote.

The cable measures approximately 128cm, and the earbuds have an IPX4 water-resistance rating. Supplied silicone eartips come in small, medium and large sizes, while the included stability wings come in medium and large. A zippered carry case is also included with the earbuds.

The launch finishes are Black, White Smoke and limited-edition Dewdrop Mint. The Black version has blue accents, while the White Smoke version has lime-green accents.
