Linn adds native Presto Music integration to its app

Linn added native Presto Music integration to the Linn App on 16 August 2026, making the classical and jazz streaming service available through compatible DS/DSM network-audio systems. The service now sits inside Linn's app as a native streaming option for eligible players across the supported product families. Playback through the integration supports CD-quality and hi-res streams from Presto Music.

Hardware compatibility is defined around DS/DSM products that use the ARM-Linux platform. Majik, Selekt and Klimax DSM systems are the three named compatible product families for the app integration. The family designations identify the relevant Linn network-audio ranges, while the ARM-Linux requirement identifies the hardware platform on which the service runs. Each eligible player therefore falls within the supported DS/DSM group and uses that architecture.

Software compatibility is divided between firmware on the network player and the Linn App on the mobile device. The player must run Davaar 118 firmware or later. On iOS, the app requirement is version 4.8.16.2 or later. Android devices require Linn App version 4.10.2.1 or later.

Taken together, compatibility spans the player, its firmware and the mobile application. The hardware establishes whether the DS/DSM unit can run the integration. Davaar supplies the player software requirement, and the operating system determines the relevant app threshold. All three elements form the supported route from the Linn App to Presto Music playback on the network-audio system.

Linn customers are eligible for a three-month free trial of Presto Music. The offer provides an introductory period for the service following its integration into the Linn App.
