QUAD launches Elegan loudspeakers as new entry range

QUAD launched the Elegan Series loudspeakers in the UK on 24 July 2026. The range comprises the Elegan 1 standmount and the Elegan 2 floorstanding loudspeaker. UK pricing is £749 per pair for the Elegan 1 and £1,499 per pair for the Elegan 2.

The Elegan Series was developed under Peter Comeau and uses woven Kevlar cone drivers. QUAD also uses Linkwitz-Riley crossover networks across the range. Its Airflow bass reflex port system is part of the acoustic platform for both models.

The Elegan 1 is a two-way standmount loudspeaker with a 165mm woven Kevlar bass driver. Its quoted frequency response is 56Hz-24kHz, and nominal impedance is 8-ohm compatible. The cabinet measures 365mm high and weighs 8.9kg per speaker.

The Elegan 2 is a three-way floorstanding loudspeaker with two 165mm woven Kevlar bass drivers. Its quoted frequency response is 44Hz-24kHz, and nominal impedance is 8-ohm compatible. The speaker measures 942mm high on its plinth and weighs 28.4kg per speaker.

The Elegan Series is positioned as the entry point to QUAD loudspeaker ownership and sits below the Revela and ESL ranges. Both models are available in matte black and real walnut veneer.
