HIFIMAN lists HE1000 WiFi streaming planar headphone

By 20 August 2026, HIFIMAN had listed the HE1000 WiFi as a Wi-Fi streaming planar headphone. The announced price for the HE1000 WiFi is $2,699. The model uses planar drivers and includes integrated digital conversion and amplification. Its three operating modes are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB Audio.

The HE1000 WiFi's digital conversion section uses a Himalaya DAC based on R-2R architecture. Amplification is supplied by a fully balanced Class AB circuit for the planar drivers. Both sections are incorporated into the headphone's integrated signal path. That architecture is designed to remove the task of external-amplifier matching from the user setup.

HIFIMAN specifies a frequency response from 8 Hz to 65 kHz with a tolerance of ±0.5 dB. Channel separation is 105 dB when measured at a frequency of 1 kHz. The integrated DAC and amplifier section has THD+N of 0.009% into a 32-ohm load at 1 kHz.

For PCM playback, the HE1000 WiFi accepts 16-, 24- and 32-bit digital audio. Compatible PCM sample rates cover the range from 44.1 kHz to 768 kHz. Native DSD support starts at DSD64 and extends through DSD512. For Bluetooth operation, codec support includes SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD and LDAC.

The HIFIMAN HE1000 WiFi has a net weight of 452 g. HIFIMAN rates battery life at 6.5 to 7.5 hours when the headphone operates in Wi-Fi mode. The Bluetooth-mode rating is 23 hours. Charging takes three to four hours, and standby time is 30 days.
