Rosso Fiorentino's Arno20 uses a two-way driver layout in a stand-mounted loudspeaker positioned as the entry-level model in the company's Arno series. The loudspeaker carries a UK price of £5,350. Its enclosure is assembled from multiple solid layers of HDF, rubber and aluminium, with constrained-layer damping incorporated into the cabinet construction.
The driver arrangement combines a 28 mm silk-dome neodymium tweeter with a 165 mm mid-woofer fitted with a treated-paper cone. The crossover point between the two drive units is set at 1.7 kHz. The cabinet also uses a rear-firing port.
Rosso Fiorentino specifies a frequency response extending from 45 Hz to 25 kHz within a tolerance of ±3 dB. Sensitivity is rated at 87 dB SPL with a 2.83 V input measured at a distance of 1 m. Nominal impedance is 8Ω. The specified minimum is 4.8Ω.
The recommended amplifier-power range extends from 50 W to 150 W into 8Ω when the signal remains unclipped. The Arno20 enclosure measures 413 mm high, 220 mm wide and 342 mm deep. Each individual loudspeaker has a net weight of 16 kg.
Installed on its stand and plinth, the complete Arno20 assembly measures 1145 mm high, 247 mm wide and 385 mm deep. That overall figure includes the support and plinth as well as the loudspeaker enclosure. The Arno40 occupies the floorstanding position above the Arno20 in the same series. Rosso Fiorentino's matching Arno20 stands cost £1,150 in the UK.
