Seefluth Audio introduces Qlang M4s active floorstander

Seefluth Audio introduced the Qlang M4s, a German-made active two-way floorstanding loudspeaker, on 20 August 2026. The first five pairs of the Qlang M4s Founders Edition are priced at €9,900 per pair. The model combines built-in Hypex Class-D amplification with a DSP-based active crossover and room tuning. Its approximate manufacturing lead time is ten weeks.

The Qlang M4s uses an 18 cm SEAS driver for its mid/bass section, with a coated-paper cone. High frequencies are handled by a Morel tweeter with a silk dome. It completes the active floorstander's two-way driver complement.

Amplification is integrated into the Qlang M4s and uses Hypex Class-D technology. Signal division between the two-way drive units is handled by a DSP-based active crossover. FIR filtering forms part of the crossover's digital implementation. Room tuning is provided through DSP as part of the Qlang M4s's active electronic architecture.

The enclosure is sealed and uses a passive radiator for its acoustic loading. The cabinet is made from solid beech and incorporates resonance bracing in its construction. Each completed Qlang M4s floorstanding loudspeaker weighs 25 kg. Seefluth Audio founder Michael Seefluth developed the model and handcrafts the Qlang M4s in Germany.

Seefluth Audio uses a direct-sales model for the active loudspeaker. The launch offer is a Founders Edition priced at €9,900 per pair for the first five pairs. The Qlang M4s carries a five-year warranty. The approximate manufacturing lead time for a Qlang M4s order is ten weeks.
