HIFIMAN introduced its second-generation Svanar wireless earbuds at the Kunshan Summer Product Launch event on 28 May 2026. The HIFIMAN Svanar Wireless 2 true wireless earbuds use a single-chip HYMALAYA Mini R-2R DAC and are scheduled for availability in September 2026 at an announced suggested retail price of $299.
An independent Class AB balanced amplifier stage is separate from the DAC and has a rated output of 45mW. HIFIMAN's nanoparticle-coated Topology Diaphragm is used in a 10mm dynamic driver designed for full-range reproduction. The specified frequency range is 10Hz to 35kHz. The HYMALAYA Mini contains twice as many resistors as the original DAC version while occupying one-fifth of the space.
Wireless connectivity is via Bluetooth 6.0, with support for both the L2HC and LDAC Bluetooth audio codecs. The earbuds have L2HC certification, and that codec supports adaptive bitrates ranging from 320 to 960kbps. Active noise cancellation uses the ANC Deep Noise Cancellation system, which is rated for up to 35dB of noise reduction.
The housing is smaller than that of the original Svanar Wireless, and each earbud weighs 7.4g rather than 8g. The earbuds carry an IPX5 rating. Battery life is rated at four to eight hours, depending on usage. The charging case can recharge the earbuds three times.
Planned HIFIMAN Mobile App support includes firmware updates and EQ control for the Svanar Wireless 2. Touch-gesture personalisation is also among the planned app features.
