Majority launches Fitzwilliam range and Quadriga Maxi
Majority's new Fitzwilliam range uses full-width component housings. Its CD player is intended for an existing amplifier or active speakers. The range and the Quadriga Maxi support remote control and the OKTIV app.

Majority has launched three Fitzwilliam hi-fi components and the Quadriga Maxi all-in-one system. The range comprises the Fitzwilliam CD streamer/CD player, Fitzwilliam AMP streaming amplifier and Fitzwilliam CD AMP integrated CD receiver, each supporting Spotify Lossless via Spotify Connect. All four products are available in the UK and Europe.
All four products offer internet radio, DAB/DAB+ and FM with RDS, as well as podcast playback. They also support USB playback of MP3 files from drives up to 128GB.
The Fitzwilliam CD uses a slot-loading mechanism compatible with CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs, with an announced UK price of £179.95. It has Bluetooth 5.2 reception and a 3.2-inch colour display. Connections include a stereo RCA input, stereo RCA, optical and coaxial outputs, and a 3.5mm headphone socket.
The Fitzwilliam AMP and CD AMP use Texas Instruments Class-D amplification, each with a stated two-channel power rating of 200W. Both provide stereo RCA, optical and coaxial inputs, passive-speaker outputs, a stereo RCA pre-out and a 3.5mm headphone connection. The AMP has an announced UK price of £199.95 and offers preset EQ modes plus bass, treble and loudness adjustment through My EQ. The CD AMP has an announced UK price of £229.95 and a tray-loading mechanism for CD, CD-R and CD-RW playback.
The Quadriga Maxi has an announced UK price of £349.95 and a 2.1-channel speaker system comprising two 3-inch full-range drivers and an integrated 5.25-inch bass woofer. Its stated system power rating is 200W, and its slot-loading drive plays CD, CD-R, CD-RW and MP3 CD discs. It supports Spotify Connect and Bluetooth 5.2 reception, with optical, stereo RCA and 3.5mm AUX inputs plus a 3.5mm headphone output. A 4.3-inch colour TFT display is built into the 50 × 28 × 13.3cm enclosure, which weighs 6.4kg.
