Majority launches Stylo and expands Folio finish range

Majority has introduced the Stylo turntable alongside an expanded colour range for the existing Folio. The Majority Stylo belt-drive turntable costs £159, and both models are available now in the UK through Majority, Amazon, Richer Sounds and Currys.

Stylo plays records at 33⅓ and 45 RPM, using an aluminium platter and a straight carbon-fibre tonearm. The arm carries an Audio-Technica AT3600L moving-magnet cartridge with a replaceable stylus. The deck provides an adjustable counterweight and anti-skate control, together with a cueing lever and pitch adjustment.

Bluetooth 5.3 transmits audio to compatible wireless speakers or headphones. For wired connections, Stylo has an RCA output and a built-in phono preamp, with selectable line and phono output modes. These support connection to active speakers or a conventional stereo system, including setups using an external phono stage.

Stylo measures 42.6 × 33.2 × 13.1 cm and weighs 4.6 kg. Its finish choices are Blackout, Sol Yellow, British Racing Green, Blue Steel and Oxblood. Supplied accessories include RCA and ground cables, an RPM adapter and a dust cover.

Folio's expanded finish selection comprises Blackout, Sol Yellow, British Racing Green, Blue Steel, Oxblood and Plywood. The £169 all-in-one turntable has built-in stereo speakers, an S-shaped tonearm and an Audio-Technica AT3600L cartridge. It supports bidirectional Bluetooth 5.3, music playback from USB storage and recording from vinyl directly to USB. Wired connections comprise an RCA output, AUX input and a 3.5 mm headphone socket.
