Fyne Audio introduces the F1-10 Anniversary loudspeaker

Fyne Audio has introduced an anniversary loudspeaker with worldwide production restricted to 30 individually numbered pairs. The Fyne Audio F1-10 Anniversary is a floorstanding model with a 75 mm chemically strengthened aluminosilicate glass compression diaphragm. The official UK price is £37,000 per pair including VAT.

The three-way design uses a 250 mm IsoFlare point-source assembly with a multi-fibre bass/midrange cone and FyneFlute surround, while a new computer-optimised annular waveguide accompanies the compression diaphragm. It is the first Fyne Audio loudspeaker with a fully integrated SuperTrax system. Its 25 mm Thin Ply Carbon Diaphragm super tweeter fires upwards into a Tractrix-profile diffuser to produce 360-degree high-frequency dispersion. The SuperTrax system is time-aligned with the IsoFlare driver.

The crossover is hard-wired onto rigid fibreboard panels and uses laminated-core inductors, non-inductive thick-film resistors and ClarityCap PUR-grade polypropylene capacitors. Each crossover undergoes Deep Cryogenic Treatment, and internal wiring is Neotech PC-OCC. Crossover frequencies are 750 Hz and 16 kHz, with separate ±3 dB adjustments for high-frequency energy above 750 Hz, presence between 2.5 kHz and 5 kHz, and super-tweeter energy between 16 kHz and 60 kHz. Specified frequency response is 26 Hz–60 kHz at −6 dB under typical in-room conditions.

The curved birch-plywood cabinet has extensive internal bracing, to which the IsoFlare assembly is mechanically coupled. Internal twin-cavity tuning works with a downward-firing bass port that feeds a BassTrax Tractrix diffuser incorporated into a twin-layer aluminium plinth. The finish combines American walnut veneer, high-gloss burr walnut, solid walnut trim and champagne-gold detailing, with UV-resistant piano-gloss lacquer applied to the natural veneers.

Each pair is built, assembled, finished and tested at Fyne Audio's Glasgow manufacturing facility and receives 100 hours of run-in before delivery. Connections use gold-plated WBT Nextgen bi-wire terminals, with a fifth grounding terminal provided. An optional black driver trim kit is offered.
