Fyne Audio launches Cubitt 5 active speakers in North America

Fyne Audio announced the Cubitt 5 active bookshelf loudspeaker system for North America on 7 August 2026. The North American launch price is $899 per pair. Its amplifier section provides 240W of total maximum power. The system supports digital playback at resolutions up to 24-bit/96kHz.

The Cubitt 5’s acoustic design is built around Fyne Audio’s 5-inch IsoFlare driver. Within the IsoFlare assembly, a 19mm titanium-dome tweeter is mounted in a concentric arrangement. The active loudspeaker system uses a DSP active crossover for frequency division. Fyne Audio specifies an overall response from 43Hz to 34kHz, measured at -6dB under typical in-room conditions.

For wireless playback, the Cubitt 5 provides Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity with support for aptX HD and AAC. Its wired digital connections comprise HDMI ARC and an optical input. Analogue connections comprise an RCA line input and a phono input for moving-magnet and high-output moving-coil cartridges. The system also provides a dedicated subwoofer output.

The primary loudspeaker enclosure measures 260 × 165 × 215mm. The secondary loudspeaker enclosure measures 260 × 165 × 223mm. Fyne Audio offers the Cubitt 5 pair in a choice of five cabinet finishes: Midnight Black, Pearl Titanium, Olive Green, Pebble Grey and Arctic White.
