Fyne Audio launches Cubitt 5 active bookshelf speakers
The Scottish brand’s active design gives dealers and buyers a compact system built around source switching rather than separate amplification. It also puts Fyne into a category shaped by TV audio, desktop systems and simplified two-channel setups.

Fyne Audio has launched the Cubitt 5, an active pair of bookshelf loudspeakers engineered in the UK. The model brings amplification, digital signal processing and source connectivity into the speaker system, positioning it for listeners who want a two-channel setup without a separate amplifier.
The Cubitt 5 is built as a primary-and-secondary speaker pair. The primary speaker houses the system electronics and connects to the secondary speaker by cable, with source inputs aimed at TV, digital, analogue and turntable users.
Fyne Audio’s Cubitt series material positions the model as an active and wireless speaker system, though the product still uses wired power, a speaker interlink and physical source inputs. The finish options are Arctic White, Midnight Black, Olive Green, Pearl Titanium and Pebble Grey.
