Denon has added the DP-500BT to its turntable range. The semi-automatic belt-drive model has an announced recommended retail price of €849 and is scheduled to become available through specialist retailers and the Denon online shop in November 2026.
Bluetooth transmission supports the aptX, aptX HD and aptX Adaptive codecs. The turntable can pair with Bluetooth-equipped speakers, soundbars and headphones for wireless playback. It also incorporates a built-in phono preamplifier that can be switched on or off.
The DP-500BT uses a statically balanced S-shaped tonearm and comes with a moving-magnet cartridge already installed. Its platter is made from die-cast aluminium. The semi-automatic functions comprise an automatic tonearm lift and an automatic stop function.
The turntable has a two-tone exterior and cast feet, with vibration-damping construction forming part of its physical design. A removable dust cover is also included with the DP-500BT, alongside the mechanical and electronic equipment fitted to the deck.
