FiiO launched the AIR AMP streaming power amplifier online on 27 August 2026. The product combines network playback, digital conversion and speaker amplification in a single chassis. The Class D model is priced at 1,799 yuan in China. It delivers 120W per channel into 4 ohms with the supplied 48V/5A adapter.
The amplification stage is built around a Texas Instruments TPA3255 chip and uses post-filter feedback. With an 8-ohm speaker load, the AIR AMP is rated at 90W per channel. That figure applies at less than 1% THD+N. With an optional 48V/10A adapter, output can reach 235W per channel into 4 ohms.
The digital section pairs an ESS ES9020Q DAC with an XMOS XU316 USB audio processor. The USB input handles PCM resolutions of up to 32 bits. PCM sample rates extend to 768kHz, and native DSD support reaches DSD512. The equalisation suite includes Auto EQ, preset settings, a 10-band parametric equaliser, and independent bass and treble controls.
Streaming support covers Roon Ready, AirPlay and QPlay, plus local playback over DLNA. Network access is provided by Gigabit Ethernet and dual-band Wi-Fi on the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Bluetooth 5.2 supports the SBC and LDAC codecs. The connection count totals seven inputs and three outputs.
The chassis measures 207mm wide, 188mm deep and 42mm high. Its approximate weight is 930g. The enclosure is offered in a choice of black or silver finishes. FiiO offered the AIR AMP through its official AliExpress store.
