Audio-Technica launches four phono setup accessories

Audio-Technica has introduced four phono and turntable accessories for cartridge setup, platter-speed calibration and signal connection. The line comprises the AT-CAP4 Multi-Function Cartridge Alignment and Stroboscope Disc, AT-TC300/1.2 High-performance Phono Cable, and AT6112x and AT6104x Headshell Lead Wires.

The AT-CAP4 is intended for setting cartridge geometry and checking turntable speed, two setup points that affect tracking, distortion and record wear. The AT-TC300/1.2 addresses the low-level signal path between turntable and phono stage, while the headshell lead wires cover the short connection between cartridge pins and headshell contacts.

Taken together, the accessories sit in the maintenance and setup side of Audio-Technica’s analogue range. They are aimed at users adjusting existing turntables rather than replacing the main playback hardware.
