Wilson Audio Autobiography heads to Hong Kong show

Wilson Audio will present Autobiography at the Hong Kong High End AV Show 2026, placing its floorstanding loudspeaker in a Constellation Audio demonstration system. The show runs from 7 August 2026 to 9 August 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai. Constellation Statement Monoblock amplifiers will be paired with the Autobiography loudspeakers.

Autobiography uses a five-way M(MTM)M driver configuration. Its driver set includes two 2-inch midrange drivers and two 7-inch PentaMag midrange drivers. Bass output comes from one 12-inch woofer and one 15-inch woofer. The loudspeaker also uses a Convergent Synergy Laser Sintered front-firing tweeter and a rear-firing 1-inch inverted-dome tweeter.

The loudspeaker has independently adjustable upper and lower PentaMag midrange modules. Its woofer system has front-or-rear adjustable porting. Wilson Audio rates sensitivity at 89.5 dB at 1 W, 1 m and 1 kHz. The nominal impedance is 4 ohms, with a 2.1-ohm minimum at 293 Hz.

Autobiography has a room-average frequency response of 18 Hz to 36 kHz within plus or minus 2 dB. The minimum amplifier-power recommendation is 100 watts per channel. Each channel measures 206 cm high without spikes, 55 cm wide and 89 cm deep. Uncrated weight is 372.40 kg per channel.

The Hong Kong system also includes a dCS Varèse digital source and Transparent Audio cables. Constellation Performance 2 electronics will form part of the same display. Richcom Audio Video is Constellation Audio's Hong Kong distributor.
