Sonos has scheduled a September 2026 product launch event. CEO Tom Conrad previewed the event during Sonos' Q3 FY2026 earnings call on 29 July 2026. The company has not named the product, but the launch is tied to product-side work developed over the past year.
The forthcoming work is framed around conversational computing and predictive intelligence moving into the home. Sonos describes the relevant home-AI operating environment as hardware, system knowledge and connectivity surrounding the AI model. That framing points to product development around the wider connected home rather than a standalone software announcement.
Sonos enters the event with an installed base of more than 53 million connected devices across more than 17 million homes. Its portfolio spans speakers, soundbars, subwoofers, amplifiers, portable speakers and headphones. The company is headquartered in Santa Barbara, California, and operates in more than 60 countries.
The September event follows Sonos' January 2026 announcement of Amp Multi, a professional-grade multi-channel streaming amplifier. Amp Multi will be available globally through Sonos installation partners starting 25 August 2026. Sonos' next product launch event is scheduled for September 2026.
