2WA Group has added IDEON Audio’s Nous to its North American dealer network. The IDEON Nous is a streamer/DAC/analog preamplifier platform with a suggested retail price of $35,000. IDEON Audio presented the model as a world premiere at High End Vienna 2026.
The Nous integrates streaming, DAC conversion and analog preamplification in a single chassis. It uses IDEON Audio’s Real-TimeCore playback philosophy and a reference-grade DAC platform. The analog stage uses a fully differential topology.
The power supply is a fully linear ultra-low-noise design. Two oversized custom-designed transformers serve separate analog and digital power circuits. The architecture places the network player, converter and preamplifier sections inside one component rather than splitting those functions across separate boxes.
Streaming support includes Qobuz Connect, Spotify, AirPlay, UPnP streaming, Audirvana integration, local library playback, NAS rendering and Roon Bridge. The Nous also includes two fully balanced analog inputs. Its digital inputs include USB Audio, optical digital input and coaxial SPDIF.
