Omega Audio Concepts presents SOLISTA CD player in Warsaw

Omega Audio Concepts will present its new CD player at Audio Video Show Warsaw, running from 23 to 25 October 2026. The Omega Audio Concepts SOLISTA is the brand's first CD player with an integrated power supply.

The chassis is CNC-machined from a single block of solid aluminium, with 20 mm walls separating the principal internal sections. The power-supply section sits in dedicated compartments at the rear, isolated from the disc-reading mechanism. Five independent toroidal transformers supply the circuitry, which uses LT3080 low-noise linear regulation. Internal connections use Omega Audio Concepts' patented ELEMENTS conductors.

Disc playback uses a CD-Pro8 mechanism with structural reinforcement and a flat-bottom reading unit. Its custom, non-magnetic CD clamp is CNC-machined, while a hinged front opening provides access for disc loading. The internal reference clock is generated by a 10 ppm TCXO module. An STM Cortex-M0 digital microprocessor is also part of the design.

SOLISTA incorporates a 24-bit/192 kHz DAC and an OPA1612 operational amplifier for audio output. The specified signal-to-noise ratio is 110 dB, with a dynamic range of 106 dB. Analogue connections are provided through RCA outputs, and mains power connects through a fused IEC inlet. Specified power consumption is 20 W.

Player control uses an external 5.0-inch RGB TFT touchscreen with an 800 × 480 resolution, housed in a solid-aluminium enclosure. An infrared remote also controls the CD functions. The player measures 270 × 370 × 100 mm, in width, depth and height, and weighs 35 kg excluding packaging. The Warsaw demonstration will take place in first-floor Room 127 at the Radisson Blu Sobieski Hotel.
