JBL introduces EasySing microphones with AI vocal removal

JBL has introduced the EasySing microphone range for karaoke on compatible speakers. The JBL EasySing Mics and JBL EasySing Mic Mini use proprietary AI processing to reduce or remove original vocals from music in real time. US pricing is US$199.95 per EasySing Mics system and US$179.95 for EasySing Mic Mini.

The vocal controls provide four settings that retain 100%, 50%, 25% or none of the original singer's voice, without requiring specially prepared karaoke tracks. Music can be selected from services including Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL and YouTube. Both models include Voice Boost processing designed to support higher notes. The JBL One app provides EQ adjustment, vocal presets, reverb and echo for both products.

EasySing Mics connects to compatible JBL PartyBox and portable speakers through an included wireless dongle, with a rated operating range of up to 30 metres. Each package contains two wireless microphones with a cardioid pickup pattern. The system includes noise-suppression and vocal-enhancement processing. Rated battery life is up to 10 hours.

EasySing Mic Mini includes a USB-C dongle for connection to compatible speakers and devices, with a rated wireless operating range of 20 metres. Bluetooth and auxiliary connection options are also available depending on the equipment being used. The microphone can attach to clothing with a magnetic clip or fit into a ring-style handle, providing wearable and handheld configurations. It includes AI noise suppression designed to reduce background noise and has a rated operating time of approximately six hours.
