Amadeus Meitner reveals Meitner MTR-201 monoblock amplifiers in Warsaw

Meitner EMM Labs has shown its new MTR-201 monoblock power amplifiers for the first time at Audio Video Show 2026 in Warsaw. Each MTR-201 is rated at 200 W and uses a MOSFET output stage with a switch-mode power supply. The name refers to the MTR-101, the 100 W monoblocks Ed Meitner launched the company with. Pricing and availability have not been announced.

Amadeus Meitner, son of company founder Ed Meitner, introduced the MTR-201 in Skybox 116 at the National Stadium in Warsaw. The amplifiers are demonstrated there together with partner Dwa Kanały. “Nobody’s seen these yet and nobody’s listened to them yet,” said Amadeus Meitner.

The MTR-201 is a monoblock power amplifier rated at 200 W. Its output stage uses MOSFETs, and its power supply is a switch-mode design. The voltage gain section is taken from the EMM Labs MTRX2 and MTRS amplifiers. The presentation did not include load impedance ratings, dimensions or weight.

Ed Meitner started the company with a preamplifier and a pair of MTR-101 monoblock amplifiers rated at 100 W. Amadeus Meitner said he developed the MTR-201 together with his father and the EMM Labs and Meitner team. The MTR-201 joins the existing EMM Labs monoblock amplifiers rated at 1 kW.

The Warsaw system pairs the MTR-201 with Fink Team loudspeakers, an Acoustic Signature turntable and a Finite Elemente rack in a room of about 40 square meters.
