T+A has introduced the Solitaire T Pro headphones. The closed-back dynamic over-ear model uses a 42 mm driver with a cellulose diaphragm and supports Dolby Atmos spatial audio. It is available through authorised dealers at a recommended retail price of €1,590.
Wireless connectivity uses Bluetooth 6.0 and a Qualcomm QCC 5181 chipset, with support for LDAC, aptX Lossless, aptX HD and LC3 codecs. The headphones also support Auracast. Hybrid active noise cancellation is accompanied by a button-activated transparency mode.
For wired listening, the Solitaire T Pro supports analogue connections through Pentaconn, 3.5 mm and 6.3 mm plugs. Passive analogue operation works without battery power, while Active Analog mode provides noise cancellation and volume control during analogue playback. Digital audio playback is available through USB-C, with Studio Pro mode using an ESS Sabre ES9219 DAC. The specified frequency response is 4–22,000 Hz in active operation and 4–45,000 Hz in passive operation.
Battery life is specified at up to 50 hours in standard operation and up to 25 hours in Studio Pro mode. A full charge through USB-C takes approximately two hours.
The housing incorporates machined, bead-blasted and anodised aluminium components, and the headphones weigh 336 g. The joints allow the earcups to rotate 90 degrees and fold for storage. Finish options are the dark Nightflight and light Riviera versions. A carrying case is included.
