T+A launches SDX 3100 HV and A 3100 HV separates
T+A has added two HV-series components with the SDX 3100 HV streaming DAC preamplifier and A 3100 HV stereo power amplifier. The SDX 3100 HV supports native DSD1024 and PCM up to 32-bit/768 kHz. U.S. pricing is $44,900 for the SDX 3100 HV and $29,900 for the A 3100 HV.

T+A has launched the SDX 3100 HV Reference Streaming Preamplifier DAC and A 3100 HV stereo power amplifier in its HV series. The SDX 3100 HV is priced at $44,900 in the United States, and the A 3100 HV is priced at $29,900. Together, the two-box pairing is priced at $74,800.
The SDX 3100 HV uses T+A Path Separation Technology for dedicated DSD and PCM signal paths. It supports native DSD bitstream conversion up to DSD1024 and PCM conversion up to 32-bit/768 kHz. The component also includes T+A's third-generation Audiophile Streaming Architecture and a fully analog tone-control system.
Connectivity on the SDX 3100 HV includes AES/EBU digital input, two HDMI inputs and an HDMI ARC output. Networking is handled through Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4 is also supported. Headphone output is provided through 6.3 mm and 4.4 mm Pentaconn connections.
The A 3100 HV is rated at 300 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 500 watts per channel into 4 ohms in stereo mode. Its High Current operating mode can deliver up to 75 watts in pure Class A operation. The amplifier has a stated frequency response of 0.5 Hz to 180 kHz, measures 17 x 46 x 46 cm and weighs 38 kg.
The SDX 3100 HV replaces the SDV 3100 HV at the top of T+A's digital lineup. The A 3100 HV replaces the A 3000 HV, which remained in production for more than a decade. The optional HV phono module for the SDX 3100 HV is priced at $2,190 in the United States.
