Audio Resurgence launches Kraken Integrated AR6A in Germany
Audio Resurgence’s Kraken Integrated AR6A has entered German distribution through nortus Audiotronic. The Class-A integrated amplifier uses a separate power-supply enclosure. The Kraken range also includes a preamplifier and a stereo power amplifier.

Audio Resurgence has introduced its Kraken Integrated AR6A to Germany through nortus Audiotronic. The Class-A integrated amplifier delivers up to approximately 50 watts RMS per channel into 8 ohms and is available at High End Lädle in Wörth am Rhein.
The AR6A houses its power supply in a separate enclosure, giving the integrated amplifier a two-box arrangement. An integrated moving-magnet phono stage is available as an option.
The series also includes the Kraken AR7A preamplifier and Kraken Power AR8A stereo power amplifier. The AR8A delivers approximately 50 watts into 8 ohms in stereo operation and supports bridged mono operation, with output of approximately 100 watts in that mode.
Audio Resurgence is reviving the Kraken amplifier concept associated with British manufacturer Alchemist Products. Andy Light and Glen Gayle, both formerly involved with Alchemist, are developing those earlier ideas at Audio Resurgence. The manufacturer’s authorised-dealer network includes Nortus Optronic GmbH in Wörth am Rhein.
