Sony introduces BRAVIA 9 II and 7 II True RGB TVs
The new BRAVIA ranges move Sony’s premium TV line into its first True RGB LED models for the home market. The announcement also adds a wireless three-speaker BRAVIA Theater system for buyers building a front-stage home-cinema setup around the displays.

Sony Electronics has introduced the BRAVIA 9 II and BRAVIA 7 II televisions, alongside the BRAVIA Theater Trio wireless speaker system. The launch adds two True RGB LED TV ranges to the BRAVIA line and a matching home-theater audio product for front left, right and center channels.
The BRAVIA 9 II sits above the BRAVIA 7 II in the new range, with additional picture-processing hardware and a screen treatment for glare and reflection control. The BRAVIA 7 II brings Sony’s True RGB LED approach to a wider screen-size spread.
For home-cinema audio, the BRAVIA Theater Trio uses three wireless speakers rather than a soundbar format. The system is built around left, right and center speakers, with Sony’s spatial processing used to create a wider virtual speaker field. It can also be expanded with compatible Sony subwoofer and rear-speaker products.
