Wand adds 12-inch Dark-Light tonearm for Vienna show
The new model extends the Dark-Light line for turntables with the space and setup range required by a larger arm. It gives analogue-focused visitors at HIGH END Vienna 2026 another Wand design to hear in a show system.

Design Build Listen is bringing the Wand 12-inch Dark-Light tonearm to HIGH END Vienna 2026, adding a new 12-inch version to the Wand analogue range. The launch is relevant for vinyl systems with the plinth space and setup latitude required by a larger tonearm.
The Wand tonearm line is built in New Zealand and is offered in 9.5-inch, 10.3-inch, 12-inch and 14-inch lengths. That range places the new Dark-Light model between the compact long-arm options intended for more common decks and the largest Wand formats.
The 12-inch Dark-Light uses Wand’s Musical Taper concept, which increases the arm-tube diameter toward the pivot as the arm gets longer. Public reports also describe internal brass mass near the rear or pivot area as part of the tonearm’s vibration-control approach.
