Q Acoustics launches 3040c compact floorstander
Q Acoustics has launched the 3040c compact floorstanding loudspeaker. The new pair completes the 3000c loudspeaker series and is priced at £599 in the UK. It uses twin 120 mm C3 mid/bass drivers, a 22 mm high-frequency driver and cabinet technologies shared across the range.

Q Acoustics launched the 3040c compact floorstanding loudspeaker on 30 July 2026. The 3040c is sold as a pair and is priced at £599 in the UK. It completes the 3000c loudspeaker series, Q Acoustics' most affordable loudspeaker range.
The 3040c uses two 120 mm C3 Continuous Curved Cone mid/bass drivers. Its 22 mm high-frequency driver is based on Concept-series design principles. The cabinet uses P2P Point to Point bracing and HPE Helmholtz Pressure Equaliser tubes.
The speaker has a frequency response of 43 Hz to 30 kHz at -6 dB. Nominal impedance is 6 ohms and sensitivity is rated at 88 dB. Recommended amplifier power is 25 W to 120 W. Each loudspeaker measures 942 mm high by 285 mm wide by 281 mm deep including spikes and stabilisers, and weighs 14.6 kg.
The 3040c sits below the 3050c in the 3000c floorstanding lineup. It is available in Satin Black, Satin White, Pin Oak and Claro Walnut finishes.
