The MOON 341 uses Class A/B power amplification and joins the brand’s entry-level Compass collection. Its power-supply and distortion-cancelling technologies derive from the flagship North collection.

MOON has expanded its Compass collection with a new integrated amplifier. The MOON 341 analogue integrated amplifier is rated at 100 W per channel into 8 ohms and 200 W into 4 ohms, with a starting price of €5,200.
The 341 combines a fully balanced analogue preamplifier with MOON Distortion-Cancelling Amplifier technology and MOON bipolar transistors. Its 800 W MOON Hybrid Power supply incorporates active power-factor correction. Specified total harmonic distortion is 0.009% at 1 W and 0.003% at 100 W, while the specified signal-to-noise ratio is 108 dB.
An integrated phono stage supports moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges, with configuration handled through the on-screen menu. The amplifier has a 6.75-inch colour display, alongside a rotary dial and on-unit control buttons. A balanced XLR input provides an additional connection for an analogue source.
Dual Ethernet ports provide MOONLink connectivity for communication with compatible MOON components. A USB service port allows direct firmware updates. An aluminium CRM-4 remote control is included with the amplifier. The 341 also supports the optional BRM-1 Bluetooth remote control.
The chassis has micro-blasted aluminium side panels and measures 42.9 cm wide, 8.7 cm high and 38.5 cm deep. Combined black-and-silver and all-black finishes are offered, with finish availability varying by location. MOON is the audio brand of independent Canadian manufacturer Simaudio. Its components are designed and hand-assembled in Boucherville, Quebec, Canada.
