The new Compass Collection models give MOON by Simaudio a separate source-and-control component and a dedicated power amplifier. The launch broadens the range for systems built around separates rather than a single integrated chassis.

MOON by Simaudio has added the 491 Network Player / Preamplifier and 461 Power Amplifier to its Compass Collection. The launch expands the line with a dedicated front-end component and a matching power amplifier for separates-based systems.
The 491 Network Player / Preamplifier is intended to sit at the front of a system as both source and control unit. It brings network playback, digital conversion, analogue replay support and headphone listening into one chassis.
The 461 Power Amplifier is positioned as the most powerful model in the Compass Collection. It can be used in stereo systems or switched for mono operation, including a bi-amping mono mode.
