Manunta expands Classic range with preamp and power amplifier
M2Tech brand Manunta has added the Classic Preamplifier and Classic Power Amplifier to its line-up. The range began in 2024 with the Classic Integrated Amplifier. The new separates have styling influenced by hi-fi components from the 1980s and 1990s.

Manunta has announced availability of its Classic Preamplifier and Classic Power Amplifier through authorised dealers. The stereo power amplifier is rated at 75 W RMS per channel into 8 Ω or 110 W RMS per channel into 4 Ω.
The Classic Preamplifier is a stereo preamplifier with a discrete-component line stage and Lundahl transformers on its balanced outputs. It provides three RCA line inputs, two balanced XLR inputs and an MM/MC phono input, alongside RCA and balanced XLR line outputs. An RCA loop accommodates an external processor or recorder. The phono section offers adjustable MC input impedance from 10 to 1,000 Ω, while MM mode bypasses the MC pre-preamp and uses a 47 kΩ input impedance.
A dedicated discrete-component amplifier handles headphone listening, while the preamplifier's controls cover volume, balance, mute and standby. An infrared remote is included, and Wi-Fi control is available through a free app for iOS and Android. One trigger input and two trigger outputs use 3.5 mm jacks, with the input accepting a 9–15 V signal. The preamplifier is hand-assembled in Italy using through-hole-mounted components.
The Classic Power Amplifier has a dual-mono power supply with a dedicated transformer for each channel. Its dynamic output rating for 10-millisecond bursts is 170 W RMS per channel into 8 Ω or 270 W RMS per channel into 4 Ω. Specified THD+N is 0.02% at maximum power into 8 Ω, and thermal sensors help prevent output-transistor overheating. Connections include stereo RCA and XLR inputs, speaker outputs and two trigger connections supporting pass-through operation.
The power amplifier's two analogue VU meters have a 50 dB dynamic range, with scales calibrated in decibels and watts for 8 Ω loads. Their brightness can be adjusted by infrared using a Manunta remote control. Both components have brushed aluminium front panels.
