IOTAVX has introduced the B:ound, a compact stereo power amplifier. The IOTAVX B:ound uses a Class-B amplifier architecture and has a stated output of 2 × 200 W. Its introductory online preorder price is €549.
The preorder offer runs through 18 October 2026 and is limited to 100 units. Regular availability is scheduled for 2 November 2026, with an announced regular price of €699.
The enclosure measures 75 × 164 × 238 mm, with a format intended for installation in compact hi-fi racks or desktop systems. The amplifier is also intended to handle front-channel amplification in a system with an AV receiver. Its specified distortion figure is below 0.0002%.
Analog audio enters through RCA inputs, while screw terminals provide the speaker connections. The B:ound also includes a 12 V trigger input. It automatically wakes from standby when it detects a music signal. Specified power consumption in standby is below 0.5 W.
