DM connect has introduced a digital clock reference cable for S/PDIF audio transmission. The DM connect GENEVA BNC is a coaxial digital interconnect with a specified impedance of 75 Ohm and precision BNC connectors at both ends. It is supplied in a 0.75m length. The cable is priced at £599.
The cable's geometry is designed to maintain its specified impedance throughout the transmission path. Each of its connectors uses a seamless, one-piece metal body produced by precision CNC machining. DMConnect describes the metal construction as providing structural rigidity and dimensional accuracy, with the connector design intended to ensure a secure and stable connection.
The connectors are finished with high-purity 24K gold plating. DMConnect describes this finish as providing resistance to oxidation and corrosion while maintaining a clean and reliable contact surface over time. The precisely machined contact interface is engineered to support consistent electrical performance and signal stability.
