HiBy introduced the BD100 at its winter product event on 12 December 2025. The HiBy Digital BD100 desktop DAC and headphone amplifier uses two Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC chips, one per channel, and is listed at US$129 for either version.
The 3.5mm single-ended headphone output is rated at approximately 281mW into 32 ohms, while the 4.4mm balanced output is rated at approximately 1,087mW into the same load. A rear RCA line output provides a connection for powered speakers or a separate amplifier. The audio circuitry includes two TI OPA1612 headphone-amplifier chips, four SGM8262 op-amps and dual femtosecond-grade oscillators.
USB playback supports PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and native DSD512, with DSD256 available over DoP. The optical and RCA coaxial S/PDIF inputs accept PCM up to 24-bit/192kHz. Separate rear USB-C connections handle audio data and 9V DC power.
Wireless audio uses Qualcomm's QCC5181 platform with Bluetooth 5.4 and support for LDAC, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, aptX HD, aptX, AAC and SBC. The unit also has an external antenna connection. A dedicated front-panel 3.5mm microphone input allows microphone audio to be transmitted over USB during headphone playback. An external microphone is included.
A circular 160 × 160 colour display shows the selected input, playback format, Bluetooth status and volume. The multifunction knob controls volume and settings-menu navigation, while the main power switch is on the rear panel. The BD100 measures 116.8 × 100.6 × 39.7mm. The aluminium-alloy version weighs approximately 302.5g, and the walnut version weighs 242g.
