Grado launches Signature S150 open-back wired headphones
The Signature S150 joins Grado's Signature Series as its entry-level model. Grado also plans to offer the revised headband assembly separately for compatible older headphones.

Grado has expanded its headphone range with the Signature S150. Announced on 22 October 2026, the wired, open-back dynamic model uses a new 44mm S driver with a paper-composite diaphragm. Preorders are open at an announced price of £295 / US$295, with availability planned for November 2026.
The S150 has a specified frequency response of 16Hz to 34kHz, with sensitivity rated at 104 dB at 1mW and nominal impedance of 38 ohms. Its drivers are matched to a tolerance of 0.05 dB. Specified total harmonic distortion is below 0.3% at 100 dB.
A detachable Signature Bronze cable connects to a 3.5mm socket in each earcup. At the source end, the cable has a 3.5mm plug, and a 6.3mm adapter is included for connection to equipment with the larger headphone socket. Optional cable terminations can also be ordered.
The headphones weigh 220g and use a single-piece acoustic chamber made from engineered ABS polymer, with a matte-black housing finish. The padded leather headband contains a flexible steel band that allows adjustment of inward tension. The assembly incorporates matte-black polymer gimbals, stainless-steel height rods and reinforced junction blocks. Earcup rotation is controlled.
The S150 comes with Grado's F cushions, which incorporate internal acoustic slits. It is also compatible with other Grado headphone cushions.
