Goldmund has launched the TELOS 9800, a mono power amplifier positioned as the company’s ultimate model in the category. Introduced on 10 August 2026, the new amplifier is rated at 1,560 Wrms into 8 ohms. Its architecture places the power supply and amplification stage in separate enclosures. Together, those enclosures constitute one TELOS 9800 mono amplifier.
The power supply occupies one enclosure, while the amplification stage occupies the other. This layout makes the TELOS 9800 a two-enclosure assembly for a single mono power amplifier. The two electrical sections are physically separated rather than installed together in one enclosure. The complete product therefore includes both a power-supply enclosure and an amplification-stage enclosure.
The TELOS 9800 uses next-generation MOSFET output devices in its amplification design. Goldmund rates the mono amplifier at 1,560 Wrms into an 8-ohm load. The 1,560 Wrms figure therefore applies at the specified 8-ohm impedance. The MOSFET devices form the output section of the two-enclosure amplifier.
Goldmund builds the TELOS 9800 chassis from micro-blasted aluminium. The chassis uses 15 mm panels. The radiator chassis measures 40 mm. The micro-blasted aluminium chassis is offered in grey or black.
The TELOS 9800 builds on the foundations of Goldmund’s TELOS 8800. Goldmund positions the new model as its ultimate mono power amplifier. It also presents the TELOS 9800 as the most advanced expression of the company’s amplification research. Goldmund launched the amplifier on 10 August 2026 and offers its micro-blasted aluminium chassis in grey or black.
