Eversolo launches two-model DMP-A8 Gen 2 series in the UK
Eversolo’s DMP-A8 Gen 2 and DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 are now available in the UK. The models cost £1,949 and £2,489 respectively. The Master edition includes integrated CD playback.

Eversolo has introduced the DMP-A8 Gen 2 and DMP-A8 Master Gen 2, the two editions in its DMP-A8 Gen 2 series. The DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 is part of Eversolo’s DMP Streamer Series. UK pricing is £1,949 for the DMP-A8 Gen 2 and £2,489 for the DMP-A8 Master Gen 2. Both editions have an 8.6-inch LCD touchscreen.
The digital architecture uses an AKM AK4191EQ digital processor and an AKM AK4499EX DAC across both editions. The series supports native DSD512 decoding and PCM decoding at resolutions up to 768kHz/32-bit. The DMP-A8 Gen 2 series also uses evotune Pro room correction. The adjustable subwoofer crossover spans frequencies from 40Hz to 500Hz.
The DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 includes integrated CD playback. It uses an OCXO clock with PLL and provides a 10MHz external-clock input. The DMP-A8 Gen 2 measures 388 × 265 × 88mm in length, width and height. The DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 measures 388 × 265 × 98.5mm in the same order.
Both editions support Gigabit Ethernet for wired network connectivity. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 provides wireless network access throughout the DMP-A8 Gen 2 series. The DMP-A8 Gen 2 and DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 also support SFP fibre-network connections.
The DMP-A8 Gen 2 series debuted at High End Vienna in June 2026. The original release window was the third quarter of 2026. The DMP-A8 Gen 2 and DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 became immediately available in the UK on 24 August 2026.
