Esoteric adds N-05XE and S-05XE XE Series components
The new pairing gives Esoteric a two-box route for network playback, digital conversion, preamplification and Class A power amplification. It is aimed at systems where source control and amplification are being specified together rather than assembled across several separates.

Esoteric has added two XE Series components with the N-05XE Network DAC Preamplifier and S-05XE Class A Stereo Power Amplifier. The launch gives the brand a matched source-control and power-amplifier combination built around network playback, digital conversion, preamplification and stereo Class A amplification.
The N-05XE combines network streaming, DAC, preamplifier and headphone-amplifier functions in one chassis. Its role in the range is as an integrated digital and analogue control component, with network playback and app-based control sitting alongside conventional digital and analogue inputs.
The S-05XE is a Class A stereo power amplifier intended as the matching power stage. It uses a dual-mono layout and can operate in stereo, bridged or bi-amp configurations, giving the pair a path from a conventional two-channel system to higher-output or split-amplification arrangements with compatible loudspeakers and system layouts.
