CMF launches Speaker S with swappable panels and knobs

CMF has launched Speaker S alongside Speaker M. The CMF Speaker S portable Bluetooth speaker has a rated output of 10W RMS and became available on 12 October 2026, priced at £49 in the UK.

Speaker S uses a 45mm full-range driver with two passive radiators. Its 2600mAh battery is rated for up to 18 hours of playback at 50% volume with Ultra Bass enabled. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours, while a 10-minute charge provides up to one hour of playback.

Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity supports two simultaneous device connections, with NFC tap-to-pair, Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair available for pairing. The speaker supports AAC and SBC codecs, with LC3 used for Auracast audio, and also accepts digital audio through USB-C. Two Speaker S units can be paired for dedicated left and right stereo channels. Auracast-based Party Mode enables synchronised playback across up to 10 compatible speakers, including models from other brands.

Adaptive Tuning adjusts output and equalisation in real time during playback, while the Nothing X app provides Balanced, More Bass, More Treble and Voice presets alongside custom EQ. Listening modes include Ultra Bass, Wide Soundstage and Night Mode. A control knob handles volume, playback, track navigation and Ultra Bass activation, with separate buttons for power, Bluetooth pairing and Auracast. Auto Wake activates the speaker when a paired device reconnects during charging.

The milk-carton-inspired enclosure has swappable front panels and knobs, with support for standardised, 3D-printable custom designs. It measures 130.5mm high, 85mm wide and 44mm thick and is offered in White, Dark Grey, Orange and Turquoise. Speaker S carries an IP68 dust- and water-resistance rating. It is rated to withstand fresh-water immersion at depths of up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes under laboratory conditions.
