KNACK MK3
LAB12 introduces KNACK MK3 mains cable with OFC contacts
The KNACK MK3 is the third generation of LAB12’s power cable. It starts a new cable series distinguished by green packaging. The cable is designed and handcrafted in Greece.

LAB12 has introduced a new version of its KNACK power cable. The LAB12 KNACK MK3 mains cable uses three 6 mm² conductors and comes in 1.5-metre and 2.5-metre lengths, with custom lengths available on request.
The conductors are made from silver-plated oxygen-free copper. Independent braided copper shields surround the phase and neutral conductors, with high-purity copper used for the shielding. The construction also incorporates low-loss dielectric materials and a PET outer covering, with a black-and-green appearance.
The newly developed connectors use oxygen-free copper contacts finished with pure silver plating. EU and US mains plug options are available, while the equipment end can be specified with a 16 A or 20 A IEC connector. The cable itself has a continuous conductor current rating of 16 A and is rated for 220–240 VAC.
Specified resistance is 3.1 mΩ per metre, while capacitance is 120 pF per metre. The cable’s specified inductance is 2.40 μH per metre.
The MK3 follows the orange-series KNACK MKII in LAB12’s cable development history. The original KNACK was developed to work with the company’s Gordian power conditioner.
