AVID has launched the Ingenium SE, an updated turntable that succeeds the company’s Ingenium Plug&Play design. The new model changes the drive arrangement, tonearm package and upgrade path while keeping the product positioned as a ready-to-use AVID deck.
The Ingenium SE uses a motor system derived from AVID’s Relveo model and partners it with an external power supply. The tonearm package has also been revised, with adjustable bias and upgraded cabling listed in the launch material.
AVID lists upgrade routes for the model, including a metal platter and an electronic DSP power-supply option. That gives the Ingenium SE a clear step-up structure without making the base package dependent on those later changes.
