Twelve South has introduced a display-equipped model to its AirFly range. The Twelve South AirFly View is a Bluetooth audio transmitter and receiver priced at US $79.99. Its screen shows connected headphone names and connection information during pairing.
In transmit mode, the adapter sends audio from a source's 3.5mm headphone output to Bluetooth headphones. It supports simultaneous listening through two pairs of headphones. Receive mode works in the other direction, passing music from a phone to a compatible AUX input.
AirFly View also supports Auracast with compatible equipment. The adapter is intended for use with existing audio sources and systems, retaining the source equipment and headphones while providing a wireless connection between them.
Claimed battery life is up to 16 hours, and charging is via USB-C. A travel case and an airline adapter are included with the unit. Twelve South lists the AirFly View in Black and Coastal Blue colour variants.
