Theory Professional debuts p9 Pendant Loudspeaker

Theory Professional introduced the p9 Pendant Loudspeaker at InfoComm 2026. The model uses a 9-inch driver system with the company’s Theorem axi-symmetric waveguide and is planned for Q4 2026 availability. Passive 16-ohm/70V and PoE versions are planned.

Theory Professional has debuted the p9 Pendant Loudspeaker at InfoComm 2026, expanding its pendant loudspeaker lineup for commercial installations. The p9 is planned for Q4 2026 availability in passive 16-ohm/70V and PoE versions. The model is positioned for premium commercial spaces including restaurants, hotels, retail environments and wellness spaces.

The p9 uses a 9-inch driver system built around Theory’s Theorem axi-symmetric waveguide. Its low-frequency section uses a carbon fiber sandwich diaphragm. The loudspeaker has a 45Hz to 20kHz frequency range and is rated for 120-degree high-frequency dispersion.

The enclosure is black anodized aluminum, matching Theory Professional’s broader use of aluminum construction in its loudspeaker designs. The p9 sits as a larger option in the company’s pendant range alongside the existing ic6 pendant family. Theory Professional plans to make the p9 available in Q4 2026.
