T+A launches SDX 3100 HV streaming preamplifier DAC

T+A launched the SDX 3100 HV streaming preamplifier DAC in July 2026. The HV Series component processes PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD up to DSD1024. It is priced at $44,900 in the United States and began shipping to authorised T+A specialist dealers and distributors on 9 July 2026.

The SDX 3100 HV uses T+A's third-generation Audiophile Streaming Architecture and Path Separation Technology. Its preamplifier section uses a fully symmetrical double-mono architecture. The unit also includes fully analog tone control.

The preamplifier frequency response is rated at 0.5Hz-300kHz, and the DAC weighted signal-to-noise ratio is 117dB. Streaming support includes Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect and Apple AirPlay 2. The connection set includes two HDMI inputs and HDMI ARC output. An optional MM or MC phono module is priced at $2,190 in the United States.

The SDX 3100 HV succeeds the SDV 3100 HV in T+A's reference streaming DAC and preamplifier line. It was introduced alongside the A 3100 HV power amplifier as part of T+A's new reference pairing. The chassis measures 17 x 46 x 46cm and weighs 26kg. Finishes are silver lacquer and titanium lacquer.
