Panasonic launches SC-PMX112 networked micro hi-fi system

Panasonic has expanded its micro hi-fi range with the SC-PMX112. The system has a stated power output of 180W and a UK recommended retail price of £269.99, with shipping scheduled for October 2026.

The SC-PMX112 supports dual-band Wi-Fi, with Spotify Connect and internet radio among its network playback options. Bluetooth provides a wireless connection for audio playback from a compatible phone or tablet. A CD player handles disc playback, while DAB+ and FM reception provide broadcast radio alongside the system's online sources.

The supplied speakers use a two-way design, combining 13cm full-range drivers with dedicated tweeters. Their wooden cabinets incorporate bass-reflex ports and have detachable grilles. The speaker cables are also removable.

Physical connections include an optical input for a compatible television or other digital source, plus a 3.5mm analogue line input for external audio equipment. The USB-A port supports both audio playback and charging. A headphone output provides a connection for wired listening, while a separate subwoofer output allows an external subwoofer to be connected.

A 2.8-inch colour TFT display forms part of the main unit's interface, and a remote control is included with the system. The SC-PMX112 also incorporates clock, alarm and sleep functions.
