Mobile Fidelity launches Rush audiophile reissue series

Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab has launched a multi-year audiophile reissue series for Rush's 1974-to-1985 album run. Fly By Night and A Farewell to Kings are scheduled for summer 2026, followed by Rush in fall 2026.

The campaign is planned across vinyl and Hybrid SACD editions. Most titles are planned as UltraDisc One-Step sets, and every title in the series is planned as a Hybrid SACD edition.

Fly By Night will appear as a numbered 180g 45RPM 2LP edition priced at $59.99, alongside a Hybrid SACD priced at $34.99. The vinyl edition uses a 1/4-inch 15 IPS analog master to DSD 256 to analog console to lathe mastering chain.

A Farewell to Kings is being issued as a limited UltraDisc One-Step 180g 45RPM 2LP box set priced at $125.00. It is limited to 5,000 numbered copies and uses a 1/4-inch 15 IPS Dolby A analog tape to DSD 256 to analog console to lathe mastering chain. Its Hybrid SACD edition is priced at $34.99.

The self-titled Rush edition is a numbered 180g 45RPM 2LP priced at $59.99, with a Hybrid SACD edition priced at $34.99. Its vinyl mastering chain runs from a 1/4-inch 15 IPS Dolby A analog master to DSD 256, then to analog console and lathe. The remaining campaign titles are scheduled to roll out through 2028.
