Ideon announces Nous platform for HighEnd Vienna 2026
The single-chassis digital front end gives Ideon a new integrated component for systems built around streaming and preamplifier control. Its first public showing is set for the Vienna event in June, alongside a separate Axiom DAC demonstration with Brodmann Acoustics.

Ideon Audio will present the world premiere of the all-new Ideon Nous Streamer / DAC / Analog Preamp platform at HighEnd Vienna 2026. The launch adds a single-chassis digital playback component to Ideon’s range, combining streaming, conversion and analog preamplifier functions.
Nous is positioned as a complete high-end digital playback platform rather than a standalone streamer or DAC. The product architecture integrates a DAC, network streamer and analog preamplifier architecture in one component.
The platform also introduces Ideon’s Real-TimeCore playback approach and a redesigned playback application ecosystem. The app work covers the interface, library management, metadata structure, navigation and interaction flow for local and network playback.

HIGH END Vienna 2026 runs from 4 to 7 June 2026 at ACV Vienna. Ideon lists the Nous world premiere in Level 1, Room 1.68, and a separate Level -2, Room -2.41 demonstration with Brodmann Acoustics for the European premiere of the new Axiom DAC flagship platform and Brodmann JB 175 speakers.
